OUR STORY

Welcome to Tapara Beachwear!
An ethical fashion brand known for its predominantly white designs with vibrant touches of colour and high quality materials.
Founded in 2006  the brand began in a small village on the Venezuelan coast. The name Tapara was inspired by the beautiful calabashes found in the tropical forests.
Drawing from the chic, carefree lifestyle of St Barth, where Carole the founder was living, Tapara Beachwear quickly expanded to other Caribbean islands and the Maldives.
Today, Carole's daughter, designer and model Amaya, has joined her mother, continuing the brand's legacy of  unique, high-quality handmade designs,  creating timeless, long lasting tunics.
